How to Back Up and Restore Your Website

Open Backup in cPanel
Log in to cPanel and click Backup (or "Backup Wizard") under "Files".

Download a full backup
Click Download a Full Account Backup to save everything, or grab a partial backup of just your home directory or a database.

Store it safely
Keep the downloaded archive somewhere safe (your computer or cloud storage), separate from the server.

Restore when needed
To restore, use Backup Wizard → Restore and upload your home-directory or database backup file.
