Acceptable Use Policy
Rules that keep VedHost safe and reliable for everyone.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of VedHost services. By using our services you agree to these rules. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate them.
01 Prohibited content and activity
You may not use VedHost to host, transmit, or link to:
- Spam, bulk unsolicited email, or phishing of any kind
- Malware, viruses, exploit kits, or command-and-control infrastructure
- Child sexual abuse material or content that exploits minors
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- Material that incites violence, harassment, or unlawful discrimination
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal schemes under applicable law
02 Resource use (shared hosting)
Shared hosting is intended for normal website workloads. Accounts that consistently exceed fair-use CPU, memory, I/O, or inode limits, or that destabilize the server, may be asked to optimize, upgrade to a higher plan, or move to a dedicated environment.
03 Security
You are responsible for keeping your applications, themes, plugins, and passwords updated and secure. Compromised accounts used to attack others may be suspended without notice until cleaned.
04 Email
Outbound email must comply with anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and equivalents). Mailing lists must be opt-in and include a working unsubscribe link.
05 Backups
We perform routine backups for our own disaster recovery, but you are responsible for maintaining your own independent backups of important data.
06 Reporting abuse and DMCA
To report content that violates this policy or to send a DMCA notice, email support@vedhost.com with the URL, a description of the issue, and your contact details.
07 Enforcement
We may, at our sole discretion, remove content, suspend services, or terminate accounts that violate this AUP or applicable law. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to fix the issue first.
