Terms of Service
The agreement between you and VedHost.com when you use our services.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the hosting, domain, email and related services provided by VedHost.com ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms.
01 Acceptance of terms
By registering an account, placing an order, or using any part of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy, each incorporated here by reference.
02 Accounts & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, current and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication on your account.
03 Payment & billing terms
Services are billed in advance on the billing cycle you select. Invoices are generated before the due date and must be paid by the due date to avoid service interruption. Unless you disable it, services renew automatically and the registered payment method is charged on renewal. Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Overdue accounts may be suspended and, if left unpaid, terminated.
04 Refunds & cancellation
New shared hosting plans include a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first purchase. You may cancel a service at any time from your client area; cancellation stops future renewals but does not, by itself, generate a refund outside the guarantee window. Domains, SSL certificates and third-party add-ons are non-refundable. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
05 Acceptable use
You agree not to use our services for any unlawful, abusive, or infringing activity. Prohibited conduct includes spam, malware distribution, phishing, copyright infringement, and excessive resource usage that degrades service for others. See our full Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or remove content or services that violate these rules.
06 Uptime SLA & service credits
We target a 99.99% monthly network uptime for shared hosting services. Uptime is measured as the percentage of minutes in a calendar month during which our network is reachable, excluding scheduled maintenance and circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure, third-party network failures, DDoS attacks, or customer-caused issues).
If we fall short of the committed uptime in a given month, you may request a service credit toward a future invoice:
- 99.90% to 99.98% — 5% of that month's hosting fee as credit
- 99.00% to 99.89% — 10% credit
- Below 99.00% — 25% credit
Credits must be requested within 30 days of the affected month by opening a ticket, are calculated against the recurring hosting fee only (excluding domains, add-ons and taxes), and are capped at 100% of that month's fee. Service credits are your sole and exclusive remedy for uptime shortfalls.
07 Data & privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal data we collect and how we process it, including your rights under the GDPR and CCPA. You are responsible for the content and data you store on our services and for ensuring you have the right to process it. You remain the data controller for any personal data you upload; we act as a processor on your behalf.
08 Limitation of liability
Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, VedHost.com is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or revenue. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service in the three (3) months preceding the claim. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups in addition to any backups we provide.
09 Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate services for non-payment, violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or to protect the integrity and security of our network. Where practical we will give notice. You may terminate by cancelling your services in the client area. On termination, your right to use the services ends and stored data may be deleted after a reasonable period.
10 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated effective date and, where appropriate, by notice to your account. Continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The courts located in New Jersey shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
